Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Salesforce CPQ Developer with 5+ years of software development experience (with a minimum of 4 years dedicated to the Salesforce platform) to join our Production engineering team in Bengaluru or Hyderabad. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and delivering sophisticated Salesforce CPQ and Quote-to-Cash (QTC) solutions that optimize product bundling, dynamic pricing, discounting rules, and contract renewals. Key Responsibilities

As a Salesforce CPQ Developer on our team, you will:

• Deliver robust Salesforce CPQ solutions utilizing the platform's latest features, product rules, price rules, and quote calculation plugins to fulfill business requirements.
• Participate actively across the end-to-end software development lifecycle, utilizing Agile/Scrum methodologies for efficient sprint execution.
• Design, configure, and code highly scalable solutions that support high-volume transaction loads and rapid business expansion.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional business groups, revenue operations, and sales stakeholders to deploy impactful system improvements.
• Enforce high engineering standards through design guidance, code reviews, and adoption of development best practices.
• Actively expand technical knowledge through ongoing certification, training, and the adoption of modern Salesforce tools.
• Provide strategic and technical insights to project teams to solve complex commercial and billing challenges.
• Engage proactively with the Enterprise Architecture team to propose sound technical solutions and contribute to architecture roadmaps.
• Ensure all custom development, integrations, and CPQ configurations are fully documented and prepared for smooth ongoing production support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents promptly to maintain high business continuity.
• Provide accurate effort estimations for development tasks and consistently meet delivery commitments.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Core Experience: 5+ years of relevant technology experience, including at least 4 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Salesforce CPQ Expertise: Proven track record in configuring and customizing Salesforce CPQ (Product Bundles, Summary Variables, Price Rules, Option Constraints, Quote Templates, and Advanced Approvals).
• Development Capabilities: Strong working proficiency with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Methodologies: Solid experience delivering software via Agile / Scrum frameworks.
• Professional Acumen: Strong strategic problem-solving abilities, structured analytical thinking, and outstanding presentation and listening skills.

Required & Preferred Certifications

• Mandatory: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (PD I)
• Mandatory: Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
• Preferred / Desirable: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (PD II)
• Preferred / Desirable: Salesforce Certified Application Architect or CPQ Specialist

Tools & Nice-to-Have Experience

• Familiarity with modern deployment, CI/CD, and ALM tools like Copado or Gearset.
• Experience working with project management tools like JIRA.
• Experience with Certinia (FinancialForce) ERP or PSA systems is an added advantage.
• Broad exposure to enterprise Quote-to-Cash (QTC) and revenue lifecycle automation tools.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or any Graduate / Post Graduate technical discipline.
