Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Pega Developer with 5+ years of experience to join our Production engineering team in Chennai. In this role, you will be responsible for leading development activities across enterprise-scale Pega implementations, with particular emphasis on Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH) and PEGA PRPC V8.x. Key Responsibilities

As a Pega Developer on our team, you will:

  • Lead the architecture, design, development, and delivery of scalable Pega CDH applications.
  • Design sophisticated decision strategies, Next-Best-Action (NBA) models, and end-to-end customer journeys.
  • Integrate Pega CDH with external enterprise systems, databases, message brokers, and third-party APIs.
  • Develop and manage customer profiles, segmentation criteria, and predictive analytics models within Pega CDH.
  • Implement, tune, and optimize high-throughput real-time and batch decisioning pipelines.
  • Lead day-to-day development activities, analyzing requirements, diagnosing bugs, and delivering enhancements across PEGA PRPC V8.x platforms.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

  • PEGA PRPC V8.x Expertise: Advanced understanding of Pega PRPC V8.x architecture, tools, and enterprise best practices. Proven track record leading development cycles.
  • Platform Architecture: Proficiency with Pega User Interface, Rule Models, Process Models, Web Services, LDAP setup, Pega Connectors/Services, and Single Sign-On (SSO) frameworks.
  • Circumstancing: Hands-on experience with single, multi-variable, and Date/Time circumstancing.
  • Case Management & UI: Solid knowledge in Case Management, parallel processing, optional actions, duplicate and temporary cases, decision tables, decision trees, map values, UI localization, deferred loading, and UI optimization.
  • Integrations & Listeners: Extensive experience integrating file mechanisms (Oracle, DB2, MS SQL, REST, and/or EJB), Email listeners, and Pega OOTB integrations (SOAP, REST, MQ, SQL, File).
  • Enterprise Operations: Demonstrated expertise in exception handling, application performance tuning, deployment management, and ruleset / branch ruleset administration.
  • Core Rule Engineering: Strong working knowledge of Activities, Flows (Screen Flow, Tab Flow, Decision Nodes, Sub-Flows, Integration Shapes), Harness, Sections, Portals, Local Actions, Flow Actions, Data Transforms, Correspondence, and Rule Inspector.
  • Reporting & Declaratives: Strong background in Report Definitions, interactive dashboards, and declarative rules.
  • Asynchronous Processing: Thorough understanding of Job Schedulers, Queue Processors, Kafka, and Bulk Processing pipelines.
  • Security & Access Control: Hands-on mastery of Access Groups, Class Groups, Access Roles, Privileges, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Worklists, and Workbaskets.

Preferred Certifications

  • Pega Certified System Architect (CSA)
  • Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA)
  • Pega Certified Decisioning Consultant (PCDC)
  • Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) Part 1 (Readiness/Design cleared is an advantage)

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or any Graduate / Post Graduate qualification.
