Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive MuleSoft Developer with 4+ years of hands-on experience to join our engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust integration solutions, building enterprise interfaces across ESB platforms and managing MuleSoft Anypoint CloudHub environments. You will collaborate directly with cross-functional teams, implement complex data transformations using DataWeave, manage messaging queues, handle system exceptions, and secure enterprise APIs across mission-critical customer implementations.

Key Responsibilities

As a MuleSoft Developer on our team, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality MuleSoft integration solutions from concept through production delivery.
• Deliver continuous enhancements and resolve defect fixes on existing MuleSoft applications and integration flows.
• Manage the Anypoint CloudHub environment and provide ongoing operational support for active customer implementations.
• Build robust interfaces across enterprise ESB platforms and execute complex data mapping and transformations using DataWeave.
• Implement reliable exception handling strategies, fault-tolerant architectures, and manage messaging queues effectively.
• Utilize modern agile development workflows and toolsets including GitHub, SVN, and Maven for CI/CD and versioning.
• Collaborate actively with cross-functional development, product, and architecture teams to deliver resilient integration pipelines.
• Ensure comprehensive security of web APIs using enterprise authentication and authorization standards including OAuth and SAML.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Total Experience: Minimum 4+ years of dedicated experience in software integration, architecture, development, and support.
• MuleSoft Ecosystem: Hands-on development and administrative experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API Manager, and CloudHub/on-premises deployment environments.
• Java Foundations: Strong proficiency in Core Java programming and hands-on exposure to Spring Boot and the Spring Framework.
• Enterprise Java Tech: Hands-on working experience with Servlets, JSP, JDBC/JPA, and Hibernate ORM frameworks.
• Messaging & Web Services: Solid understanding and implementation experience with messaging systems (JMS) and web service architectures (SOAP and REST).
• Build & Versioning: Familiarity with agile development toolsets, version control, and build automation using GitHub, SVN, and Apache Maven.
• Problem-Solving: Strong debugging, diagnostic, and problem-solving capabilities with exceptional attention to system detail.
• Support & Operations: Demonstrated experience in managing, monitoring, and supporting production-grade MuleSoft implementations.
• Collaboration & Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced hands-on expertise in DataWeave for complex hierarchical and payload transformations.
• Deep understanding of centralized exception handling frameworks and enterprise messaging queue management (e.g., ActiveMQ, Anypoint MQ, RabbitMQ).
• Proficiency in building, configuring, and deploying interfaces on diverse ESB platforms.

Education

• Any Graduate or Any Post Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
