Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and proactive Android Developer with 3+ years of dedicated experience to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will design, engineer, and optimize native Android mobile applications, collaborating directly with cross-functional product and engineering teams. You will take full ownership of mobile features, maintain robust architectural integrity, eliminate system bottlenecks, and consistently deliver premier applications directly to the Google Play Store.

Key Responsibilities

As an Android Developer on our team, you will:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable Android mobile applications from concept through delivery.
• Collaborate actively with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements, define architectural specifications, and ship high-impact features.
• Take full ownership and accountability for mobile application development workflows within the team.
• Profile application performance, proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks, and fix bugs to maintain zero-defect quality.
• Build, configure, sign, and publish production-grade applications to the Google Play Store adhering to platform guidelines.
• Evaluate, prototype, and implement emerging technologies and modern libraries to maximize application responsiveness and overall efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Total Experience: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on professional experience across the full lifecycle of Android application development.
• Core Mobile Technologies: Solid command of the Android SDK, Java, Android NDK, and C for high-performance mobile components.
• API & Data Integration: Proven hands-on experience parsing JSON structures and integrating RESTful web services and backend APIs seamlessly.
• Native UI & Feedback: Strong proficiency in implementing responsive mobile layouts, real-time push notifications, and background alert mechanisms.
• Build & Versioning Tools: Practical working experience with build automation environments including Eclipse, ANT-based build systems, and Gradle.
• Play Store Deployment: Verifiable track record of preparing, publishing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications on the Google Play Store.
• Problem-Solving: Strong debugging, memory profiling, and issue resolution capabilities in multi-device mobile ecosystems.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or any Graduate / Post Graduate qualification.
